Tornado Rebuild in Joplin with Extreme Makeover – The Whitely Family
Loving Mom of three young children and personal care aid for disabled and elderly clients, Crystal Whitely is known for putting others before herself. As the tornado slammed into Joplin, Crystal and family took shelter in the bathtub. However, within minutes their house was pulled from its foundation. While Crystal desperately tried to shield her children, 6-year-old Trentan and 10-year-old Shante were pulled from mom’s arms. These two precious ones are survived by Crystal and their little sister, 4-year-old Keana.
Creating “The Chic” for this mother-daughter duo meant taking a walk on the softer side. Crystal loves the look of Victorian homes, so designers put on their girly-girl hard hats and went to work fashioning a charming home with feminine accents that some may call a life-size doll house. Those who know Crystal and Keana say that this quaint home flatters their personal style, from the white picket fence to the pink shutters.
Welcome home, Whitely girls. We hope that the low-maintenance exterior of your home will give you more time for pampering.
